Welcome Letter

Welcome Letter

I'm so excited I'm able to share this project with you - finally!  It's been a dream of mine for a long time to get this up and going and it was a lot of work to make it happen, but we're finally here.

September 1st is when I would like to roll out our products at the test sites that have agreed to partner with us.  I have so many wonderful people donating their time and resources to help make this happen and I am so grateful for the help.

This week has been spent ironing out shipping tests, putting little PR boxes together (seen in photo) and introducing this project to you.  I've been doing a lot of reflecting on my own journey and am so proud of the community I've built that is just as excited as I am.

For anyone who didn't get the letter, in 2015 I woke up with a plan to commit suicide.  I was not in a good relationship or a good place, mentally.  I sought urgent medical attention, worked an outpatient program, got medicated and got the correct support.  I learned the skills I needed to cope with hard situations, and I truly do use those skills to this day.  There's no magic fix to a mental health crisis, you have to work to fight it every day - but you don't have to fight alone.

I encourage you all to share this project with your circles.  Let providers know we're here to help, show the community how they can show up for each other in the simplest of ways.

Thank you so much to everyone who has jumped in without hesitation to help me get this going.  I just know we can do great things.  There is room for everyone at this table.
